With the new pharmacy furnishings for a modern pharmacy in Magdeburg, we were able to use the opportunity to turn a salesroom into an inviting place that conveys comfort and trust to customers. The value of health, modern medicine and professional advice is emphasized with golden accents in the overall picture.
Pharmacies are a place that for many people is also associated with unpleasant and very intimate conversations about their health. This is where they pick up prescriptions for drugs, some of which they would rather not take, but have to. This is where pharmacists or PTAs ask for complaints and give advice on medical problems. The traditionally rather gloomy pharmacy setting is not conducive to building trust in this setting. That is why the wide shop windows of the Kosmos pharmacy were adjusted with as few displays and furniture as possible. Daylight is collected in bright shelves, a white ceiling and partially transparent displays, complementing the lighting of the friendly room for open exchange at eye level.
A modern pharmacy offers many hundreds of drugs on the shelves. The continuous semicircular shelf structures, which separate the storage area from the customer area, create a modern and functional sales area. Access to the shelves is limited by the new cubic counters. Further brass coated sales displays with a round base and a natural wooden shelf complete the lively picture. Red tones, brass and wood go hand in hand here with minimalist white designs.
The pharmacy furnishings offer four separate checkout areas that are networked with an automatic picking machine on the upper floor. For the modern pharmacy, it is important that its customers receive fast and good advice. This includes personal consultation, which can also be in-depth. Thanks to the four workstations, a modern pharmacy can take time for its customers and the team itself works in a more relaxed manner without getting in the way at the cash registers.
Red and golden tones in the pharmacy furnishings look noble both when entering the room and from the outside. Beauty and wellness articles can be ideally presented via the high-quality pharmacy furnishings in addition to the necessary medication. The modern pharmacy offers finally beside pure medicine also teas, bath additives, care articles and much more besides.
All the custom-made pieces of furniture that we realized for the Kosmos Pharmacy in Magdeburg are designed especially wide. Thus, the small sales room could be optically enlarged and direct the sales channels. The composition of round displays, cubic shelves and the semicircular wall design turns the straight-cut room into a sales area that invites you to explore and discover. The slightly lowered functional ceiling and striking ceiling lighting make the pharmacy appear bright, modern and yet intimate.
